On The Porch

Spent the day on the porch
cleaning up, washing linens, dusting everything,
tucking the gourds into the trug
under the bakers table

This lovely old box holds some
of my cloth napkins that I use each day

There are three fountains running
 in the yard now
the sound is wonderful

Many evenings
I regret no longer having a sofa on the porch
for naps and such
but the bakers table needs a home here.

Darling daughter and friends will gather here
next week for their long awaited reunion.

I love everything that you show Z as, it's all very ' me ' but, that table with the drawers is absolutely wonderful ....... the paint is so beautifully distressed .... I WANT it !!!! I just bought a little French cupboard on Ebay which has some beautifully distressed paint on it. I was so pleased with it when it arrived..... it doesn't take much to please me !!
Have a lovely time with your daughter and friends ..... there's nothing nicer. XXXX

Its good we don't live close to each other. I would be using your house as a prop source for these upcoming plays I have! Watch out, that daughter might be sneaking a few film items out when she's home, hehe!
My girl child is coming home for the first time this semester, giddy today :) I know we are sharing that feeling!

Lovely fall inspiration. We're having a beautiful day here today too, windows open letting the breeze in. I think it's about nap time on the porch.
