Everything is a Hummin'

Things have been hummin' around here.
My little Mac has been busy delivering the kindest words
from all of you; encouraging me, wishing me well, and making
me so grateful that I started this blog a couple of years ago.

Humming in the trees too....

I had never succeeded in keeping a journal in all the years before and
this was my final attempt in another format.

I never imagined the blessings that would come along
for the ride. Friendships in new and wonderful ways that would fill
my heart and keep me company into the wee hours of many nights.

To my precious friends of many years,
to those I have met here
and now regard as dearest friends, to
those who occasionally stop by to chat and I wish to know better,
and to those I have just met in the past two days because of
Where Bloggers Create:
I am so grateful.
My life is richer, fuller and more blessed
because you are in it.
Each word of encouragement and
affection alters my world, and makes it
a happier place to be.
I am hummin' along reaching out to every comment and email
as quickly as I can. Until then.
...

My simple thank you.

Suzan

The blogging community is amazing isn't it? I've done a lot of online journals but they always made me feel....I don't know, kinda gross? But I finally found a place that is encouraging, enlightening and above all we treat each other with kindness! So thank YOU!!

Its amazing to me how we can develope friendships by blogging and never meet one another. It reminds me of penpals when I was a little girl only this way you don't have to wait by the mailbox.

You are so sweet! And to return every email, comment, etc....that's quite an undertaking but shows how deserving you are of being chosen to be in the magazine. It's been a pleasure to get to know you through your blog.

You write so beautifully Z. You are able to put into words what I feel in my heart. My life is richer because of blogging and meeting people like you. I feel that our hearts connected right away.
Funny story...I knew I would love you when I first saw your blog banner. The old grey mare just stole my heart!

Dear Suzan
Sorry I have been so absent... [fickle fated internet]... and especially now... time to share your joy and happiness... and recognition you [and June] so deserve!!!...

I totally agree with you about blogging.. I think we are so lucky to have met such great friends... some casual and some feel like life long pals.. such as yourself... these last few weeks with limited access have made me realise even more how fortunate I am to having you [and others] in my life to cheer me on.. support me.. and share friendship.. And... you missy are one of the best!!!

OK.... congratulations again for this well deserved recognition xxx julie

Dear Suzan, May I be so bold as to suggest... That you not worry too much, about "reaching out to every comment and email as quickly" as you can.

Of course it is polite to do so, and we want to do so, we really want to do so. But... It can put so much pressure on someone, that it bleeds off some of the Joy of being in "Pretty Blog Land." Reaching out to every comment and email as quickly as possible... Can become almost like "a job." -le sigh-

Please don't let this happen to you, my Dear. :-)

Gentle bloggers understand that there is only so much time, in the day. They know this is so, of their own lives. And they certainly feel that way, in regard to all other bloggers. They will understand, if we don't make our reply Comments and emails, quite as quickly as we would like.

Honest........ :-)

Gentle hugs.........

Super, are they not?

Yes, they are!

I love my iMac and my husband loves his Mac laptop.
