Gluttony and Gobble

I'll say it again, I love them so much!

(check it out)

Happy Thanksgiving!

I will spare you my opinion on how $#@^&%
up this holiday is as we are celebrating a lie;
so "Happy Get Together" with your families
and let the political and religious fall out begin,
and maybe just maybe, share with the young ones the truth
about the native americans and pilgrims,
as in school they still teach the lies and make
 cute pilgrim hats.

Have the kids pull out their phones and google it
and then share with the adults,
many of whom won't know the story either.

Ready Set Gluttony

I'm more about the time I spend with my family and eating some good food then anything else. I'm not much for the Thanksgiving 'story'.

Hmmmmm...Thanksgiving means a lot of different things to everyone. In these times I do believe the stories we learned of the Pilgrims and Indians is absolutely relevant. Open hearts, open hands. Peace. Feeling grateful for what we have, which hopefully will give us some respite from all that is going wrong in our world. And let's be glad for the food on our tables. I was sure to set my scale back 40 lbs., before I dug in! :)

Hope yours was as delicious, my friend.
