lovin those felted holiday items. I'm taking a break from a morning full of regular shopping.. how dare that real life stuff interfere with my holiday decorating- giggle. I did get some sort of new glitter paint at lowes. Not sure the effect it will give but I thought for 3.95 I'd try a can. I'll post whatever I make with it if it turns out ok. hugs and happy decorating thoughts to ya. Your home looks so pretty cozy and welcoming. I know it must FEEL terrific to all who enter there.
I'm doing nothing. Really, I'm taking a break and, lucky me, I see you've posted. I'm inspired to clean house. Darn, if only I could be moved to clean house. Where do you put your clutter? And if you have none - how do you do that? Your pictures and post are lovely, now I'm out of tea and must get back to work.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Love those snowballs.... we got about 4 inches of snow yesterday...I stayed snug and warm inside! Happy trimming....:)
Dear Suz, did you felt all those snowballs?? Every little corner there looks so warm and cozy and makes me want to decorate.....this year I will have to be content to look at all the lovely blogs out there instead...you look great in your new profile pic....hugs, N.xo
I need you to come and decorate my house! I mean REALLY!!! lol These pics are gorgeous! And I love all of your 'stuff'!
Also......every time I've come to your blog, I've always took delight in seeing Bette Davis on your sidebar. I just love her!! And today, I realized it was a linky button....so I read your 'Counting' post.....AWESOME! I totally agree! But I just have to add, I've never heard of any of those clothes (I'm assuming they were clothes brands!), so I must be totally out of the loop.....I guess I was hanging out in the smoking area and didn't care.....ya, way back when, when schools HAD smoking areas! Ha! I'm old.
I love the pictures you take - how you get that cozy, warm but not dull, darkness...there's a quality to them that is so distinctively you. And the felted snowballs - they are awesome and inspiring and wonderful in their abundance - can't believe you haven't done a holiday decorating book... you need to find an editor!
Oh I have fallen in love with your Christmas house all over again! You decorate so different than me, but I love it! Keeping too busy! You enjoy those kidlets of yours! Smother them with lots of kisses. :) Kit
oh my... keeping very busy! I love that wreath, so quirky and festive! I hung our advent calender yesterday, just a tad behind. This past week a friend and I played 'city workers' and went to a condemned building in town to trim the 3 different kinds of evergreens there to decorate our homes with. I made need another shift from the city, my outdoor urns and such got taken care of but I need a bit more for inside the house. We had way too much fun clipping trees! The pics of Ben making stuffing are awesome, just the thing a moms heart needs at the holidays... and always. love, t.xoxoxo

You too, are all decked out already? I feel so far behind, yet I've never started decorating this early before.
I like to wait so my greens don't get too crispy before Christmas even gets here, but it seems I'm the last to get started here in blogland...lol!
Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving:-)

Love the snow couple. All your pictures softly say "Merry Christmas" - I love that, too. Happy end of November.
