Fallish

It rained a little yesterday, giving me hope.
They say it will be in the 70's today.

Do I believe them?

I am putting out touches of fall.
I sold off nearly all of my Halloween
over the past couple of years, so
it is only gourds and pumpkins now.
The last of the homemade pumpkins from the shop.

I did keep this rare black and orange
linen scarf just to put out in October.
An impulse buy I have grown to appreciate.

I kept a few : D
See the plump white in lower left?
My former bathroom towels hehe

Kitchen counter tote gets a nod to the season.

My pumpkin shade comes out for soft nighttime lighting.

The porch table trough abounds with more gourds.

The thunder booms are now shaking the house.
It makes Howie paw the tile as if he has a hidden bone?
It also makes him poop in the garage,
refusing to use the dog door during a storm.
BAD Howie!

Lately only the NW part of town gets the storm,
but I have hope. I climbed the tall ladder this am,
cleared the gutters and I'm good to go for a torrent.
Bring it on!!!

A small repeated plea.
PLEASE, PLEASE, pretty please, put your email
INTO your profile.
I answer every comment unless I cannot find you....
and Brenda, you left me such a sweet note the other day
but I cannot reach you.
So many of us request this, and
make note of it in our comment message, plead with you, etc..
Please hear us.
Your blog experience will improve
It will <3

I loved those thunderbooms last night, almost as much as I love that black and orange dresser scarf! (Poor Howie)

It looks warm and cozy at your place, Z - I love fall as much as that dresser scarf, too. How about a coffee date next week? Tanya

LOVE it all!!! I am so behind in blog reading that it was a treat to catch up & see the different things you are working on. WE NEED COOL & RAIN TOO! It does make you "cranky" when it's hot & dry day after day. LOVE the orange & black dresser scarf. Have fun!

We've been hoping and praying for rain here in Texas. Hope you got some. Your 'autumn scarf' is wonderful. Just enough orange and black to gently say "Happy Autumn."

Suz, your photos should be in a magazine. The white-on-white photo on the distressed cabinet especially.
But they are all totally prim and homey! Lovin' all the textures! And I really like the idea of the twinkle lights in the straw pumpkins. I have one of those and never thought to illuminate it.

I enjoyed my visit with you today and thanks for the email.

Happy Fall Tuesday!

Hugs, Diane

Your gourds are good looking. I have not one gourd and we live next to a gourd farm. Every time I look at all those gourds all stacked up in the field it just reminds me of skulls...ugh.

Oh my. I'm a gourd fanatic and didn't get any out of our garden this year because it got away from us. So please tell me about these. Did you grow them? The ones under the table look to have a dark brown color. Are they stained? And, on the kitchen tote, what are the red ones on the left and the acorn looking ones next? So awesome!!
