3 boxes tree ornaments / gumdrop set
2 bleacher seats
area rug
west elm duvet and 4 shams
2 duvets PB and west elm
2 repro quilts

2 European style new PB linen shams SOLD
White beaded and rhinestone tree skirt
Floral sofa  SOLD

So I started a post about the latest group of purge items this morning and then I received another well, snarky email. I had two others this week.

Something so simple, and yet amazing how odd people can be.
I don't wish to focus on negatives here so I won't tell tales, let's just say take your weirdest garage sale experiences that make you tilt your head and say hmmmm? or in my case &#%? and put them in written form...jeez louise. I had several on-line sales that were easy peasy and lovely, and local gals are always dear, so thank you ladies, but the snarky is just not worth it..
So you'll just have to take my word that I will eventually purge 100 items. Already filled two bags of clothing  (40 pieces) this afternoon, headed to charity tomorrow.

I pick my battles. Close friends will tell you that I am a militant warrior when it comes to injustice, but taking crap from unknown people in cyberville is a waste of my time.

So back to regular programming. I hope those of you purging continue to do so with joy, and a sense of accomplishment. I applaud you...and to those very few who find it so difficult to be polite and kind, and are the equivalent of a hoofed mammal of the horse family with longer ears and a braying call.....&#?

Really, Z?? There's no excuse for rudeness! And you are so very kind in your wording - you know I would have just called a spade a spade! Hope your Sunday is wonderful, sister - you're doing great on this purging thing you've got goin' on! Call if you need help moving any of the large items - I don't want you using a tarp anymore! XOXOXO

You MUST be very near your goal! Soldier on ("Warrior On" in your case)! Do not be deterred by deranged detractors.

Z it makes me wonder why people feel the need to be snarky. You are so kind and I'm like you I ignore...not worth my time at all!! I got some clothes in my pile and today I'm going to gather another 25 items. It does feel so good. Glad you are selling some of your things. I would love to make some money from my purge, maybe a yard sale in the spring. hugs, Linda

It always boggles my mind that people actually take the time to comment negatively. Why? So they inflict their own misery upon others? Pretty sad to be them. Chin up buttercup! Don't spend one more minute thinking about THAT person. xoxo!

Yes the real world is often not like it is in blogland with its compliments and sweet words....too bad. I assume these were not bloggers.
Taking the high road shows how gracious you are.

Gosh, I'm sorry you had to start off your day with an experience like that. Some people just don't seem to realize that just because you are not face to face does not change the rules for being courteous.
BTW, I just noticed your new profile picture and it is great!

Really? What is wrong with people?? I was enjoying your purge posts. :) Since I am purging myself. I understand your feelings tho, life is too short to deal with assholes! Have a good one friend. Kit

As they said in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail":
"I blow my nose in their general direction"

I quickly read some of the comments...chin up butter cup...I blow my nose in their general direction...hahaha! In my ignorance, what does PU stand for? purge something?

snarky!!! who has time for that!! Some people just have to rain on other's parades. They are small minded, selfish and envious...I am glad you don't pay any mind to them, not worth your time!
You made me get in gear and clean out my studio and now, dreadfully, tackling my closet...ugh...but I wil be so glad it is done!
You make me smile and inspire me!

Oh c'mon...what's the matter with people?!?! Can I take a number please? I'd like a chance with these idiots. They won't even know what hit them. Well until they put there shoes on and find I have used each one as a litter box. I'm number three?! Thank you I'll just wait patiently over here for you to call my number....

Purrs to you and growls to the uncivilized...

Romeo

What a load of you know what... I am honestly amazed there are people out there that would spend their time being purposefully obnoxious, yet I hear about it so often.
I love how you wrote your post and hope you fly in the face of them - idiots will always find something snarky to say regardless of what you post about; they'll troll until they get bored and then try to rain on someone's day. Put up your umbrella and deflect them into what comes out of the mammal of the horse family with longer ears and a braying call....

Z, I agree. Some people just have to be donkey .....!
Let's not give them blogger space!!!!!
I have been purging too. It started last spring, and like the energizer bunny, just keeps going. Godwill must be having a field day with my "treasures".
I am determent to get rid of a lot of fabric. Like a squirrel, I keep hoarding. Reminds me of the commercial, where he has the post-it notes all over his dwelling, to remember where he stashed it all.
I cannot believe what piles up. You are an inspiration sweetie.
Glad you got to "meet" us all through my post.
Love your new picture. You look GOOD!
Feel better soon!!!!
Warm hugs....from far away...

Suzan. Just so you know, I am reading your blog backwards. No. I am not turned around in this seat, but rather reading it from "most recent to...well..."former postings" shall we say. You could do stand up, I swear. David Letterman, the lady is right HERE. I have been off track in reading, posting, or doing much of anything that would be called "constructive". I did perch myself up on my kitchen counter yesterday and clean the white blinds. OMGOODNESS. It was all a sight to see. I stepped in the sink to brace myself and then had leaking pipes below. Real ones. Not just mine. :)
Keep posting, woman. You make an Old Oklahoma resident smile. We need all the smiles we can get in this state. :)
