Christmas White for a Guy

My son stays in this room when he visits.
I try not to "girl" it up.

I do a simple little tree and greens
 in the hanging baskets.

He's a very modern style guy with
touches of industrial in his decor.
I add some macho red ... lol
even if some of the red is floral...

So his room does not scream white
but hehe it's still there.

Joining up with White Wednesday
cause uh, there IS still white.
Happy Thanksgiving all!

Seasons Greetings!

This is my first visit and I must say you have a beautiful style that exudes warmth in every way and from every corner. I could get lost for hours in your on-line home...

I am so glad I stumbled across your blog through Pinterest. I was actually looking at my own blog stats (I'm a newbie) and noticed that one of my own photos was on there!!! It's the first time I've looked at Pinterest...I know, I've led a sheltered life. Lol That's when I saw the photo of your inviting and oh-so-cozy family room. I will be back for some more gorgeous inspiration!!! Next time, I'll settle in with a steaming brew.

I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving,

I adore the room! You've put a lot of work into making it feel warm and comfortable. However, I can see where it might not really appeal to a modern man. You might want to take the little white dress down before he arrives ; )

This looks gorgeous. I love the baskets hanging. My son (who is 29) would make a mess of this so quickly, I'd be going crazy!

Well I think it is very thoughtful of you to not "girl" it up! Both of my sons are somewhat minimalist and are fond of pointing out a bare space on one of my walls and saying, Mom, you missed a spot. Ha!

Love it Z! Purrfect - adding greenery and simple "manly" touches ;) Of course somehow I doubt that he would mind how his room looked as long as it was in your home :)

Hugs,

"Her" and Romeo (who wouldn't mind sleeping in that bed at all)
