Truth in Advertising

Remember how pretty, tidy, everything
was just a few short days ago?
Although not technically a vignette, it was
 photographed to it's best advantage.

Well then, along comes Chania with her photo challenge
and though it sure isn't pretty, it is what it is
NOW.

After three weeks of dumping stuff from a client's house
and selling it off several nights a week, this is the mess
as of an hour ago with one of my trees waiting for it's stand,
my Trader Joes  groceries waiting to get into the house,
boxes I've saved for a friend who may be moving soon, and
general mayhem. Sheets cover stored boxes because
shoppers get too nebby ( western PA term - nosy)
and start asking about contents. Sale is tomorrow.

Three full pickups of stuff has already been sold.
By Monday it will be empty and my pretty,
tidy garage will be back just the way I like it.
 Pretty pictures will return also.
Please visit Razmataz for more truth.

But I DO admire all your organization..you know that :)

Oh, the horror......... the horror. Your sickness puts mine to shame. I'm here for you when you are ready to take a walk on the wild side. God bless.

Seems like a pleasant place to scratch around.
After a time(short) I would also get irritated to have things around without a home. Hope it all went well.

Are you sweating? Is your heart palpitating? This must be making you very nervous.

Have a great weekend Suzan.

Have fun with the sale today...I'm sure it will be a success.
The garage at my house is one place my hubby doesn't let me invade. He's a neat freak so it is clean and organized all the time. My basement storage area on the other hand reflects, shall I say, my more disheveled self!

This is hardly chaos...do you ever drive by and look in people's garages? Of course messy makes me crazy so I understand your pain!

Mess?! I'm thinking adventure and mayhem - just to my liking! I mean will ya look at all those places to crawl in and hide?!! And if by some chance a mousie ran by....well oh my my my....I'm a salivating just thinking about it. Now you have what you call a "mess", my adventure filled with mayhem...and some cat drool from mousie dreams. It's really not THAT bad now that I've put the proper perspective to it. Don't you think?

Purrs!

I must admit I feel more connected to this picture than to the other one....let's say that your garage looks now "more me" LOL!!! Good luck with the sale, I wish I was there!

I think we can all relate to the second picture. In my experience a garage is rather like a handbag - the bigger it is the more junk ends up there!

I love the contrast between the two and the fact that you admit distress about the lovely clutter your wares make. I quite like that metal screen in the front, or whatever it is.... And I always want to tell you how much I love your header - it makes me smile each time I see it. Ann

Z, now this looks like most of the garages I've seen. Sadly, this is what my garage would look like if I had one. You should see the mess in my studio right now. I have so many projects going on right now, and it is scary out there. I promise. I'll get it cleaned up right after Christmas.
I am so glad you shared your advents again. I remember them from last Christmas and I was just thinking the other day that I hoped you would share them again. I am always so lazy about going back into folk's archives.
Have a great week dear friend.

I see 3 things I want in that garage. I took all my belongings to my laundry room downstairs now it looks like a typical garage.
