So It Begins

White tree in family room going up.
I will be busy with a client right before and
after Thanksgiving so this is the week to
get some decorating completed.

The trees are usually in the same location each
year, but I switch the ornaments around easily
because they are all the same color wise, with
white or silver as the base colors.
This year the tree also has pale pink and celery colors,
with featured figures from House of Hatten
Nicole Sayre, and Sarah Lugg.

Please visit all the other White Wednesday posts
over at Faded Charm hosted by Kathleen.

post script:
Comments referring to "my tree " as if it is solitary....
This is the second one I've completed of nine.... : D
Holiday insanity reigns, because this is still
me " cutting back"..lol

It is gorgeous! I especially love the carved Santas, so so sweet, did you turn the Christmas carols on and sing along all day? I only ask because as I was making Christmas ornies today I popped in a Christmas cd and got right in the spirit! It really doesn't take much though, I love Christmas! Have a wonderful night relaxing and taking in the glow of your tree. Theresa xoxo

Nine trees? Really? If they look as pretty as your white tree your house must look like a winter wonderland.

You go girl-my boss already has her trees up-right after Halloween. We work retail and she has two small children-so she has to get them up before we get crazy or she goes crazy! Hope to see the whole finished room!

Lovely. I already did my tree in the booth space which has thrown me off and now I want to get ours up too.
I used to do about 8 trees but I am now into scaling back. Love your tree.

Nine? Wowsers! That's a bit of decorating but I suspect they will all look stunning, in different ways. This will be interesting so I hope you will post them all. We have two; we used to only put up one and then alternate which room it went in but I hated that - seemed you were always "without" the tree no matter what. So one for each room it is, one bigger, and one smaller - now I am thinking one or two more little guys might not be a bad thing - but I am also thinking it might be a slippery slope, all the way to nine!

Nine? We used to put up four, 2 live and two artificial. When we moved here 7 years ago, we put up one in the living room (my themed tree of the year) and one in the basement with the family ornaments. The past few years we are down to one as we don't celebrate Christmas here anymore (at least for now).

Your tree looks wonderful. I had a white tree for years and I loved it.
