It's November?

I had not looked over into this corner of my garden
in several days and this morning I finally noticed this.
Roses
It's November
It is not rare to have roses here this time of year, except
I had cut them way back but the warm weather fooled them
and POP they're here!

This little guy gave me a good buzzin' round the head
and then dug way down into these folds and did not come
back out. I could see the large pollen mounds on his legs.
I'd like to believe he was so drunk, he went in and fell asleep.

The perfect pink

So I'm having a great Saturday, taking a coffee break before unloading
another carload of goodies for sale. Another client purging and moving.
You local gals, let me know if you are nearby and come scout it out.
Don't know if I can bear to have another sale, so this is casual,
stop in, and early bird catches the worm.

Hope you are all enjoying the weekend, no matter what your weather.

Suzan

Roses...in November...what a luxury Suzan! When Rudy buys me roses (not often!) he always buys ten of one colour and two of another...I guess it's him and me against the world!

Your roses are just gorgeous. I have absolutely no luck with them. Maybe the little bee is trying to stay warm! What a fragrant place for a little nap!

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. It's warming up a bit here in Chicago~44 degrees!

XO,
Jane

Z, beautiful November roses you have there. I am sitting here attempting to build a fire because my heater is broken and my fire wood is wet...I am a dork. Have a lovely weekend. ♥O

We're having wonderful weather, though it was a tad cold for us here last night. I was just out, pruning and plucking and dead-heading pansies. I pulled up most of the sweet potato vine. And I came in with the scent of spearmint all over my hands. Lovely rose with the drunken bee.

Beautiful shots! No roses around here anymore. First hard freeze of the season is setting in now and we saw the first snow flurries this afternoon.

Great photos! We have a small little wild rosebush in our yard that is still pumping out bright pink blooms. I thought it would be far too cold by now! :)

Oh how I love roses. My mother had the most glorious rose garden in the home I grew up in. There were always fresh cut flowers in vases. I must get around to planting some in her memory. Thank you for sharing.
