Passing Time

While waiting for truss repair guy
I fiddled around in the studio

Sacrificed a beloved felted wool blanket

Now this morning I wait for inspection guy,
and take some pics

The extent of my fall decorating is
a few homemade pumpkins

I used to have goblins and ghouls
from one room into the next.
I used to buy scads of pumpkins.

The ghouls and goblins are all gone
except for these two:

they were my very first cover
so I had to keep....

I gave some gourds "a ride in my cart"
last weekend.
Lovely lumpy gourds of all colors,
greens, mints and peaches
and then...
I just could not justify
spending the money.
They were 5.50 each.
The ones I wanted would have cost
27.00 and change

I would grow them if I could,
but no, I sew them instead,

A large thank you to those of you
who have purchased my
home made pumpkins.
They have now all been sent out
priority so coming to you soon.

Also several gals inquired how to
buy them but you are
"no reply comment"
so I am unable to reach you via email,
to give you details and prices.
Please email me directly so I can reply.
Yes I am still sewing more..

AND AGAIN...
for the umpteenth time
PLEASE
put your email in your profile,
If you elect not to, and then
ask a question of any blogger
do it via email..
PLEASE!

These are just beautiful, Suzan. So sweet and cozy piled together in the basket. The price of the real babies are beyond insane. And to think of all of those beauties getting thrown into the old chipper because some places refuse to lower their prices. I suppose the farmers have to make a buck, too, but when I'm out in farmland, that don't cost anything near what they do here in the city. Rant over.

I agree with you on the No Reply. And I am finding those that have switched to Google+ rarely have email addresses displayed. Very strange.

XO,
Jane

I can't wait to get my pumpkins from you and they will decorate my home for a long time. I'm trying for less clutter(?) but it's hard at times to let go. The new pumpkins are also gorgeous!

I'm visiting from Linda's! I just had to come and see your beautiful pumpkins. I've been making a few this Fall but haven't really found a pattern or design I like. I keep trying different techniques! It's fun though...and addictive! Happy Fall!

I love them even better in the neutral colors!
Well I'm not sure I'd do so much for Halloween if my sister's kids and some of their friends wouldn't look forward to the Halloween Party and the decorations in our cottage every year for the last 4 years or so. Before that I never did Halloween only Fall decor, since it is no tradition here. But Pumpkins are a must real or self made, that's for sure! Yesterday Roxy and I had a blast baking and embellishing Halloween cookies although my back was hurting badly after we had finished 4 hours later!
