Into the Woods

Playing in a pretend wooded land
with hidden deer and pixies

Trying to soothe myself...
How I wish I could take a real walk in the
woods of Pennsylvania.

Our family lost a dear friend last weekend.
Nathaniel was an artist, an educator, and a darling man.
I am blessed to have a painting he created just for me,
and hundreds of hand drawn or painted notes and letters.
He always remembered everyone's special days.
He was very much loved by his family,
and an entire college community of students, artists and friends.

He will be missed.

Sorry for your loss of a dear friend. I wish you could come visit me sometime....I walk Jack most days this time of year while it's not too cold yet through the woods. Oh the things we could talk about on our journey:-)

Hard to believe it's almost time to get out all the Christmas stuff! Love how your terrarium?? looks. I have something very similar that my husband built for me years ago.

I am sorry for your loss, and appreciate the cool beauty of your woodland scene, with the subtle colors of trees and wee people.

I'm so sorry Z. I know you will remember him well and treasure all the things both tangible and otherwise, that touched your life. You were both better for having known each other. Blessings as he moves on toward his next adventure...take care.
