Silver Offerings and Insanity

With so much to do,
Gathering class approaching,
yard work in abundance...

Who in their right mind would sit
and paint silver the bottoms of wee little acorns for hours
because they required several coats?
What crazy ass person would DO THAT?

Oh yeah, duh.... mwah.

If I am this crazy when kissing 60,
what will I be like pushing 70?
Don't answer that.

The same "nut ball" (hehe) who painted and sold dozens
of these boxes many years ago.

Now that I see them again, I am tempted to try my hand at some new color ways, or should I say "lack" of color ways?

My All Hallows Eve Gathering is in 11 days.
Cannot wait to play and create with good friends. If I don't get back to work and get ready, my friends may turn to ghouls and goblins.

The acorns are adorable and only a nutcase would think they weren't. So bring on seventy (but not too fast!)!!
Your gals are going to have a blast which brings me to a colourway suggestion of my own..."Envy Green"...

Hey nutball! I LOVE your cute little boxes. And if it means anything...I love the acorns with that yummy silver on their little bottoms. Looks like something to do while sitting watching a a good movie. I have been harvesting lavender from the stem for so many nights in front of TV I don't even want count. I still have many more to I'll be thinking of you painting those acorns.

Too funny! I swear when I have something huge coming up, the closer it gets the crazier I get! I would be sitting right there with you painting acorns and then coming up with new projects for us to do that have nothing to do with Gatherings! I am telling you now that I would be a terrible influence on you. bad. I love the silver acorns and can't wait to see your new boxes! t. xoxoxox

LOVE the little silver acorns. They are so lovely ! I require at least 8 hours of sleep, so, I can't find any extra fun time. Oh, I enjoy everything that i do, but there is SO much more that I want to do, like paint acorns :-) I envy that you can stay up and play all night :-)
Love everything that you do, Z !
Enjoy :-)

I love those and don't think you're "nuts" at all! What type of paint should you use? Not that I'm thinking about doing this myself, no, now that would be crazy! But seriously, I'm kinda new to this and don't know what kind of paint to use to paint acorns! TIA!
