This and that and.....
last little touches, no really...
Cookie cutters all ready for next week's baking
Just found these plump little birdies
Best part of all
* postscript With several comments on this board I was reminded of many
mornings coming down into the kitchen and turning to see that visiting
teenagers had gotten creative with the listings and many were now quite bawdy.
I miss those days- most of them anyway
Please visit Faded Charm for White Wednesday,
hosted by the delightful Kathleen.

The white church attendance thing is brilliant. I just made gingerbread men and forgot how tedious it was but smells divine. ♥O

"Of Course" I love it all but my favorite part is the illuminated wooden box! OH AND the dates of Loved ones coming home is "Priceless"!
Hugs to you,
Donna

Happy Holidays, Laura
Love your photos and your "memo board".

The plump little birdies are so cute! And I like the calendar rack, it reminds of what they used at my church back in VA to put up the hymns and the lessons! Very imaginative idea! I need something like that so I don't forget to do things...LOL
Hello dear lady.....NOTHING BETTER THAN HAVING KIDS RETURN HOME FOR CHRISTMAS!!

beautifully creative and sweet.
That is brilliant. I can imagine the late night changes it might have had. An interestign piece.
The best days are yet to come!!! Yeah!!!!!
Z,if these are the final touches...what will you do tonight when you can't sleep? All the final touches are just what I have come to expect from my talented friend...lovely.
In answer to your question...this 'normal' person does crossword puzzles! When your kids get home, you will be able to wake them up for a hand of cards! That's what I used to do when the kids came home.lol!
hugs
Oh my, I love it. I suspect you have lots of great memories. I love the board and the memories it evokes.
Happy WW,
Judy
Just gorgeous Z... really love your style! So warm and beautiful.

The final touches are so pretty, but I really like the message board. Anticipation!!!
Teenagers just can't resist stuff like that, but I know a few adults that can't help themselves either!
Love that board and I see you have some of my new little snowman's relatives!
You can never do too much Christmas decorating!!! I love the cute little snowmen, and of course we all covet that message board. Merry Christmas Suzan!!!
xo,
Karen
Ooooo, I am so loving those little snowman guys. Very unique. Kit
Love the message board, the snowmen and those cute little birds! Enjoy the kids while they are home.
Love all of your Christmas decor! I had an old white wooden tool box like yours & sold it. WHAT WAS I THINKING? Adorable the way you fixed that up with the greenery & lights. Those sparkly snow people look like Karens(from My Dessert Cottage). I wanted to take the class she had to learn to make those. DARN! Never enough time for all the things we want to do. Are you having tons of snow up there????? Stay warm. Oh, another thing we have in common... Christmas kiddo. My son is December 17th. WHAT WERE WE THINKING? I don't think we were. Happy Holidays.
Charlene
That board is what it is all about, I love it! Maybe Hannah and Ben can come up with some new 'fun' messages to leave on it while they are home! Your home with all of its touches must look like a winter wonderland in the desert! Theresa xoxo
Beautiful! Especially love the board ... I'm going to borrow this.
Blessings.
:) I miss those days too. We had letters on the fridge that moved in the night.
Everything looks gorgeous!

Quite beautiful as always. I bet that board had so many "fun" sayings on it when the kids were home. Ahhhh the good times right?
tammy
Your hymnal board is reflective of my Dec too! Only a few dates matter. Daughter home. Son's birthday (the 20th!), Son home. Christmas. I will bet that they will sneak down and bring that board back to the old days at some point! I just saw you didn't have heat - hope it's back and you have a wonderful time with your grown children - it's different, but still good. Ann
I love those little snow people! I wish a sign in my house had my kids coming home for Christmas:( I remember how excited I was when that was happening!
Love the sign board..my daughter's b-day is the 19th as well :-) SO happy Birthday to Hannah and Brandi!
The little fat birdie is my favorite..I can relate to them :-)
Have a wonderful time with you children and a happy happy, merry merry!
What pretty plump birdies. :0) I love the board with the info on it..what a neat idea.
I wish you a wonderful {belated} White Wednesday.
