with silver
I started with a small Noble but pruned out every other layer so I can tuck the ornaments in...way in.
Then I add frosty pics tucked in for
extra sparkle and texture.
Funny how the lights photographed.
They really are balanced in person, but
with one more tree to do, I was hesitant to
take the time to pull the lights forward for a photograph.
It is why I ADMIRE so much the talent of
other bloggers who spend hours
to get those gorgeous shots.

Just beautiful! And I love that you trimmed out some of the branches to make room for tucking ornaments in deep. I'll try this idea next year! Hope you're having a wonderful holiday season! xoxo Gigi
Hi Z
Thank you so much for linking up to my tree party. It's always a joy to hear from you and I love your white tree, so pretty.

Well, point and shoot gal, to me it looks absolutely devine! Beautifully offsets your shades of white and creme. Very beautiful.
Your tree is beautiful. I love how you trim out rows...that is a great idea! It looks lush with ornaments {and those are beautiful, too}. So nicely done! :-)
XO,
Jane
Hey Suzan....you did good! The tree is lovely, and I love the idea of triming the branches (never thought of it). You are just too clever!
Have a great week.
Susie
Your pictures are beautiful! The second one is perfection.
Another beautiful tree!

What a beautiful tree Suzan. I am so far behind on my decorating this year. I don't think I'll do as much as usual. We're going to be gone over Christmas this year and I can hardly bear to think about taking down my booth at Monticello's and all the decorations in my own home when we get back.
I've always loved the way the tree looks with just the lights on it and might try it this year. My kids are getting older and say they don't mind if things are different this year.
Best wishes,
Kathleen
What a grand idea to trim out the layers of the tree!! I've already put 1200 lights on my tree or I would have the clippers to it tonight! There's always next year!
Beautiful decorations!
Tammy :-)

Just beautiful. I just want to pull up a chair in that cozy wingback and stay a while.
Happy WW,

A beautiful tree, I love the white!
Soooooo pretty! I have to agree with everyone, trimming the branches is a great idea! Duane and the kids love the big full blue spruce trees, and cringe when I lead them to more sparse fir trees. This year I have warned them we ARE getting a tree that you can actually hang lights and ornies from without cutting up our arm! You do a mean point and shoot, your shots are gorgeous! Theresa xoxo
Your photos are beautiful...love the close ups...silver and white...so wintery and Christmasy!
your blog and your tree are always beautiful...so your point and shoot is working! I always look forward to your photos.
thanks so much for visiting me, too. It means a lot!
