ARK NEEDED

www.livius.org

My heart goes out to all those getting drenched
and flooded. I was on a rain soaked ladder
in my pj's at 6 am trying to unstop
a rain gutter on my porch, and feeling
sorry for myself, although I know it
could be so much worse and is
for so many of you.

Instead of sewing a wee house yesterday,
I should have sewn together an ark!
Hope all of you dear friends are safe.

Dearest Son's plane broke (thankfully on the ground)
so he has yet to make it home. Mama is
very anxious.

My daughter in LV was saying she was looking at high water. Good luck, desert dwellers. A friend of mine visiting in Mesquite was definitely underwater. Flooded their car, etc.

Oh Suzan! A Heron's View posted today about the winter solstice being marked by chaos that the Sun Goddess has to sort out...sounds like said chaos has visited your world!
Hope everything settles down soon and especially that your son arrives home safe and sound.

The rain has been horrible around here, couple of leaks that the roofer "fixed" twice already...but other than that I think just like you...it could be a lot worse!
Hope your Son gets home soon to share with you and the rest of your family a wonderful Christmas! Thank you for all the laughs!!!!!
