SO - SEW?

(Special orders SOLD)

I'm still sewing along and the totes and purses are
leaving almost as quickly.
One of the benefits of this 50 drawer apothecary in the hall
is I have 50 knobs to hang stuff from, which I do.
As each piece is completed it is hung here
temporarily until I can photograph
and then put into the shop.

Then someone stops by, and a few more disappear
out the front door, and so far none have made it to the shop,
or been photographed properly.
I had to snap this blurry one seconds before 4 more departed.
I am thrilled.
The coffers need filling and it's always fun to see
someone you know enjoy something you've made.
I'm sewing up a batch of totes today in wonderful linens.
No better place for me to be than hibernated from the heat
in my studio at the top of the stairs.
I hope your day is lovely.

Cute...how how wonderful for you that you have hit upon something that people enjoy. I keep thinking that will happen to me one of these days...of course, I don't sew...I'd have to bake it!

Suzanne, Your sewing machine must be smoking hot, what with all the sewing. :):) The one with the owl, this is funny, I just visit Hot Market Style, they had some orange/rust colors and some owls..made me think 70's. Smiles, Susie

Love 'em all. And I really like how you combine such different fabrics and make them all different - something for everyone. I can understand how the challenge is to have any to put in he shop, but what a wonderful problem to have!
Smashing success Z!

Those totes are fantastic - do I just go to your shop (if they make it there) to order one? Have a friend who would love one of those... I am really enjoying "The Newsroom". Don't watch True Blood, but have friends who are addicted to it.

I didn't get the rudeness memo either, but it seems a lot of people did and I seem to run into them everyday. Hmmmmph. Ann

These are awesome! I just had to catch up on all your posts. I have spent too much time in the yard and not enough time checking in. Hope you are doing great! :) Kit

I haven't been to visit for a while, but I'm glad I stopped by to see these great bags. I talk about doing things like that, so it's inspirational to come across someone who just does it...good for you!
