Happy Fourth

Happy Fourth everyone!
What are you doing this weekend?

Me?

I'll be right here in the early am and later in the day.

Hanging out, reading, deadheading some blooms,
nurturing others, sucking down lots of iced tea...trying to keep it green in daily heat over 100.

It is not always easy.
Important things rarely are.

Life * Liberty * Love

Very, very hot here the last couple of days! Yesterday I went in the house and changed clothes 3 times! I will be working my bootie off tomorrow as well! You know what they say, "not rest for the weary"! Hope you have a great day tomorrow, wish I could come and drink some tea with you!

Ohhh that brick path to your garden is so sweet. All of your flowers sure are thriving despite the heat!
We have been taking it easy, it's been pretty warm here too and lucky for us we have the kindest neighbors that let the kids swim in their pool so I have been catching up on some reading while they swim and listening to "mom, watch this"
ahhhhh life is good.
Take Care! Happy 4th! love, t. xoxoxoox

Your garden is truly an oasis of coolness.

Looks so tranquil. And greener than I imagined Las Vegas to be. Actually I think the closest I ever got was Loughlin, so what do I know.

I've been MIA in blogland as well, can't really put a finger on what's behind my apathy. Could it be real life has got me preoccupied?! Hummm, what a concept. Ha!

Keep cool,
Susanne.

Yes, i would say bloggers are a busy bunch these days. 4th was great, come and gone. The ribbon store is amazing. I can see why you get excited. I used to craft, but with the horses here, crafting is always on the back burner. Love the pictures of Justice and Libbey. Debi

What a great place to be:) It's either raining for days on end here or in the 90's. My poor potted plants don't know what to do. Yours look so nice and healthy. Enjoy your week:)

Hey my Sweet
This looks amazing heat or no heat... say is that dry heat :)
I am trying to get the swelling down in my ankles today... had a storm go through early and it cooled it down a little but made a steam bath later! This old house has no air... only window units in the bedrooms... needless to say we go to bed early when it is this hot :)
Thank you for your friendship, I so appreciate you.
Blessings

Hi Z,
I hope you see this comment. I tried to e-mail you but I'm not at home (I'm in Ohio at my MIL's house)and I couldn't get e-mail to work.
Anyway....thanks for your nice comment about my studio. I was thinking of you as I was organizing...I could have used your expertise during the process!! Thanks for stopping by.

I have to stop here and comment - you've created a very inviting outdoor space here, I love your flower arrangements, hope you did enjoy July 4th!

I've read above, and enjoy your photos of the work you've accomplished with your home - the whites are very soothing to the eyes - it's a treat to see!

Hope all is going well with your daughter's move to her new apartment - soon you will be visiting I'm sure!
