EVERYTHING'S COMIN' UP ROSES

You can't make just one.
You can't
Honest
Even when you stop

even then, they breed when you're not watching

they turn to the light

they gather in groups

and they huddle close

Wools  Felts  Roses LOVE
********
post script:

I have been making roses like this out
of paper and fabric since my college float days.
Yeah, yeah a LONG time ago.
Similar versions are all over the web and blogs,
so maybe there are tutorials out there.

Anyway, my point is I did not design this method, it's been
around longer than me... AGAIN a LONG time :D
and I do not plan to take credit for it,
but because so many asked and I aim to please..
( after a couple hours of searching, I just knew I had seen it somewhere!)
I came up with this pattern
from Better Homes and Garden Creative Collection.
Let's give them the credit. It's the winter o9 edition page 94

Bet most of you still have it on your bookshelf.
Now my bookshelf is a mess after all this searching
so I am going to go red up!  Thanks Jeanne( Western PA phrase)

I love them Z! I am drawn to wool like moth to a flame (or like moth to wool!) ;O The pure white is gorgeous and your photos are divine! I washed 5, although small, loads of wool vintageness yesterday for more wool goodies. I can't seem to get enough, it's gotta be the frigid cold out there... what's your excuse? LOL The rosette heart is just perfect! Theresa xoxo

So cute. I love how they made their way into a heart. How did you make them Suzan? They would make a lovely garland.

I love all the fabric roses I've been seeing these days! But the felt one are extra special! One of these days, my famous last words I'm sure, I'm gonna try my hand at some! Have a great week! Guess you seen where I already had to take my mac to the shop? Can you believe that? Just crazy!

Love them! I like to keep busy while watching TV at night...this would be fun! And having my hands move would help keep them warm, it is soooo cold here!

Sweet flowers! And believe it or not... I do NOT have that magazine. My Hubby would say I have one of every one ever printed but, NOT TRUE! LOVE the little vignettes you created too. Have a great week. HUGS!
