Small changes
I tidied up the postal boxes and
eliminated most of the Z's.
This took less than 15 minutes
for a fresher look.
Folks can be overwhelmed with the scope of a
major purge or change.
I still recommend beginning with
the 15 minute timer method,
I've mentioned here many times.
Another 15 minutes in the den,
clearing desktop and small bookshelf
and I'll be happy.
Thank you President Obama and
Michelle Obama. Thank you
Vice President Biden and Jill Biden.
Your intelligence, compassion, dignity,
decency and passion for public service, not
self service, has served us well.
Our country needs you more than ever.
Please don't go too far away.
Rest up and then lead us forward
into perhaps the fight of all our lives.

Those small changes do add up. I've worked a little bit everyday and I can see progress. It's so warm I have the window open to get some fresh air in here. Working on the 3rd thrift shop load!!
The Obama's will be missed so much!

I like the fresh look and the 15 minute idea...I need to give it a try. As for the Prez and Vice I will miss them. What a class act and our country is better because of them. I wish we could keep them around a few more years. I have serious doubts about what is to come. Be well my friend.

Being as patriotic as Americans purport to be, one would think Trump's inauguration speech would have made the nation happy. America, America, America. Screw every country on earth except America!!
Anti-American sentiment will rise around the world like it was in the '80's. And terrorism will thrive in light of Trump's vitriolic rhetoric. R.E.M sang it best, It's the end of the world as we know it.

I shut off all news yesterday and stayed in pj’s and read and listened to music while it rained all day.
I am so sad and yet angry and energized. I have written and called so many political figures and I have no idea if it will make a difference but I think Michael Moore is correct. We need to call/email every day. Let them know we will not go quietly.
Ok, starting tomorrow, I'm setting a timer :))))
