She'll be coming 'round the mountain when she comes, (when she comes).
She'll be coming 'round the mountain when she comes, (when she comes).
She'll be coming 'round the mountain, she'll be coming 'round the mountain,She'll be coming 'round the mountain when she comes, (when she comes).
She'll be coming 'round the mountain when she comes, (when she comes).
She'll be coming 'round the mountain, she'll be coming 'round the mountain,She'll be coming 'round the mountain when she comes, (when she comes).
Well, yes I have to go over mountains no matter which way I go.
She'll be drivin' six white horses when she comes, etc.Nope, a goldish beige kinda hippo shaped Hyundai with a chipping bumper
Oh we'll all come out to meet her when she comes, etc.
Oh that would be so nice, I'm going to be lonesome again soon
She'll be wearing pink pajamas when she comes, etc.
One of two pairs, the floral ones or the striped
We will kill the old red rooster when she comes
Nah, my vegetarian friends would be upset with me so instead....
We'll be havin' chicken and dumplings when she comes
That is if I can remember to do it before work
She will have to sleep with Grandma when she comes
Not likely, no grandmas here
We'll all be shoutin' "Halleluja" when she comes
That would be so nice, I can use a good Hallelujah now and again
She'll be comin' down a road that's five miles long
It feels a mite longer since I have been away for awhile :D
In other words I am still here, just not HERE much lately.
My daily routine has changed recently, and I am adjusting to my new schedule, while trying to spend as much time with Darling Daughter as possible. Facing the possibility of an entire year passing before I see her is difficult. Knowing Dearest Son will be nearby ( 4 hrs) gives me great comfort and will prevent me from selling plasma to raise airfares to go see the chickadees.
Simultaneously, blogger has decided to not load certain blogs now and again, and more often than not has banned me from commenting. So the little computer time I do have is fraught with issues and many - many ^%$#@^&%'s.This weekend at old grey mare is the fabulous ribbon class taught by Carole Sidlow and since the class filled up so rapidly, Carole will be offering a repeat soon, so stay tuned if you wish to attend that class.
I miss you all, and I am trying to keep up to date, but honestly running my little world these days means adjustments up the wazoo, so bear with me. I still love you even if I have not commented or visited or called or emailed.
I just looked up wazoo thinking it was slang..nope, there it was..yep, that's what it is....

This holiday time has found me blogging less and busy busy busy! I think it's slowing down so I am trying to get back into the swing of things. Enjoy the time with your daughter. hugs, Linda
Happy New Year and good luck in your new job! I hope this year brings your children closer to where you live. Ya never know;) Have a great week and here is a big HALLELUJAH for you for 2012!

Enjoy all the time with your darling daughter...it is so hard when they grow up and move isn't it! My boys are 150 miles away and it seems like forever every time I see them and I see quite a bit...but it's not everyday like I wish it was!
You covered the whole song - you're good! I got to giggling, thinking back on the Family Matters episode where they went to the dude ranch, and latin bombshell Gloria was singing, "She'll be running down the mountain"...over and over again!

I'd like to see Carole do a secondary, more advanced class once we finish this first one - bigger and better flowers! Something to think about, darling!
Have a fabulous day...
Blogger has been rude to me too, for some reason I don't see the updates of some blogs and I don't like that!! My heart hurts thinking that you might not see your daughter for a whole year, I keep my fingers crossed that somehow that doesn't happen. Sometimes things change and surprise us, let's hope this is one of those times!!
I have to plan time for me. Too many people pulling me away from my own interest. I hope this year I can do some more me time.~Ames
We'll be making pretty flowers when she comes...
Glad she was onboard with the idea - I've been asking her for the double secret probation advanced class for years. :-) SIGN ME UP!
Hope your work day was uber-fabulous!
Sounds like you are adjusting to the changes well Z.
Hallelujah!
I've been pretty much AWOL from this world too. Praying for blessings in the days before your daughter goes back...
I just figured you were spending quality time with Hannah. That's the most important and getting some well deserved rest too.
hugs
Carole
Sorry you've been ill, no fun. I had something, cold? allergies? still have a little tickle way back in my throat and sound like I'm hacking up a lung just to scratch it, yuck!
I'm just the opposite with the Christmas decor. It's all put away. I started, went out for an appointment and when I got back, my husband and son had the rest piled up on the kitchen counter and in the garage. Nice to have the help but I wish I could have enjoyed it and the days with the kids a little longer.
Happy New Year, Susanne.
Wow, she'll be coming round the mountain when she comes, took me back in time...used to sing this with my Mom and Sister! You're a busy, busy lady, so as far as posting goes just do what you're able!
I was glad to see your post. I was starting to worry that flu bug returned. New job? New schedule? Sounds like your New Year is getting off to a busy start. Soak up those kids all you can!
I completely understand where you're coming from...I'm right there with ya! Wishing you all the best 2012 can hold!
I am signing Hallelujah right now for you...loudly...
As far as blogger....use Google Chrome as your browser and your troubles will be far away......
It's all good! Really, it's a fact of life that things very seldom go the way we want them. We'll see ya when you are able!
oh Lord, I had no idea you were so sick... I hope you will be feeling better really soon. Something nasty seems to be going around!Today I am trying to play catch-up. First, I would like to wish you a happy, HEALTHY and creative new year. You have chosen wisely in your pick for the new year goal.
I am hoping that the time to see your daughter will not be a whole year. I can believe that your heart is hurting just thinking about it. We sometimes take so much for granted and I never gave it much thought, that our son could be far away instead of being 2 miles down the road. But I know how much I missed him when he was four years in the army and overseas.
I hope you get well soon and that the blogger problem will be fixed.
XOXO, Evi
Ps. My Christmas stuff will be up until the 17TH...and I intend to enjoy every minute that it's there!
So glad to hear you had a nice visit with your kids and sorry you were so sick.
Wishing you much happiness in 2012 my friend:-)
xoxo

Even you 'not much happening' posts can't be beat!!! Glad you had a good time with son and hoping you are still squeezing in fun time with dd - like there is any doubt of that ;) And hoping that you are feeling better now.
Doing a little laying low myself. Keep making plans to post and life keeps getting in the way lol After reading YOUR post, I know you get this.
Wishing you a wonderful New Year!
Hugs and purrs

Missed you but totally understand your priorities! Loved your "song" this morning~ reminded me of my childhood. :) Used to sing it with MY Mamaw..and now I'm the Mamaw! STILL wished I lived a little closer when I hear about these classes!! A ribbon class I would LOVE! I should check-out the offerings in Tulsa, but I'm afraid it wouldn't have the same fun and appeal of yours. (dog gone it). blah. Sooo glad you're feeling better, z. You take care.
I've missed your witty and pretty posts but am glad you are spending time with your daughter! When I do see you again you know I'll be shouting Hallelujah and smiling!
Well, Happy 2012, and I hope the horses slow down enough for you to enjoy life!!!
Hugs,

Hilarious! You are quite the composer! Enjoy every single moment, I have been going through the same thing over here. Still a week to go before Danielle moves and girl, it's like a involuntary reflex going on with the tears lately. One minute I'm fine, the next... crying without warning. Luckily I'm usually alone when it hits so I don't start a whole waterfall over here!
This whole Christmas season has put me in a tailspin, and I'm trying to get back in the groove. soon, soon.
Take Care, like i said, enjoy every moment! t.xoxoxoxo
