I guess it really is a toss up as to which is worse: our minus 40 windchill and 4 feet of snow, or your 120s in the summer. Each are rather horrid. But I do envy your open windows right now.
Open windows would be nice right now. The 40mph winds of yesterday would have aired the place out pretty quick! I guess I'll wait for temps to get above 0 before I open anything up. Enjoy the nice weather while you have it dearie. Debbie xo
Oh my goodness Z …. I can't even begin to imagine those sort of temperatures in February. We thought that it was mild here today …. it's 9 degrees centigrade !! XXXX
I'm quietly giggling over here because we've been freezing our butts off but we got a reprieve this weekend with 60's weather. I'm not quite ready for Southern Summer but I am VERY ready for some pretty Spring. Well Z, look at it this way... at least your 120 degrees will be a "dry heat". Being a little smart assy on that because my in-laws live in the desert oven and always say, "At least is a ....". :)

I killed the first scorpion of summer in the backyard last week - that was my harbinger of things to come here in the hubs of hell! XOXO

Wow, I don't like extreme cold, and extreme heat even less. I wilt in the heat, haha. We moved here 40 years ago and cherish our temperate climate.

Boston here...I don't think the snow will melt until the annual Fourth of July bonfire at our campground!
ReplyDeleteWish I was there!
