Jar Jar (Binks)

If you

are still
and quiet

and look around

 patterns emerge

in your decor
in yourself

You must decide
if change is required
if change is necessary

If you always make the same choices
should you ever expect a different outcome?

I am drawn to repetition
in my decor
in my profession choices
and
sometimes
in my life choices

patterns emerge

be still
 pay attention
reflect

  3. Jars for you, boxes for me, my pattern is definitely boxes! And small furniture. Once Gerry asked me if little people came to our house when he left I have so many small chairs.

  4. WOW love your post. Both the pictures and the words. I'm a bit more reflective these days also. It's amazing how creative I can be when "seeing" what's around me.

  5. So true! I am recently addicted to Pinterest and just re-pinning things I like and was amazed that an actual style has emerged in some areas. It has been such a fun exploration of self!

  7. I'm not sure what I'll find when I reflect. I've got the jars. I have a lot filled. A lot of them are in a hodge podge mess as they were filled, sat next to the next one and pushed under a table that is filled with stuff. I may not worry about them and go find myself a branch and hang up one of my vintage baby dresses!!

  9. That is your need for order that shows in your love of repetition. I am more a scatterer like my scatter brain:)

I think your pickety friend will be very happy with you now.

  10. Hmmm, I am sensing you love jars. :) I am a container fan myself. Nothing in my home can just be lying out there by itself. It must have a wrapping of some sort. Wooden boxes for me. :) Kit

  11. I love this post... we like what we like, and we choose our choices - so true. I especially like the bit about outcomes... we can be stupidly optimistic at times can't we?
Your home looks cozy, tranquil - a place that is beautiful yet still so approachable. And I love your jars, love them, love them.
