A Robin Came To Visit

Every few years a stray comes to my garden.
To make me happy I believe,
perhaps sent from Dad?
They are VERY rare here.

COLOR? Bright color in Z's garden?
yep and pigs fly

First Pink

As budget allows a few more annuals will be added.

My wee space is nearly done,
and I am done in..

C'mon by for a visit girlfriends.

  2. So nice to see someone planting flowers instead of shoveling snow! Still a bit early for us, but soooon. We have so many robins here. I once looked out to see a whole bunch of them laying on the ground with their wings spread and not moving. I thought they were all dying, I called my mom and she said they had been eating my berries and were intoxicated. Imagine, robin junkies, haha!

  5. I love it when the robins return. They are prevalent here in Idaho and I love it when they show up.

  7. Oh so pretty and such a difference from here to there. We have many Robins but I have never seen a single Morning Dove except in the forest. You can grow the heat-loving plants and they will not thrive here. I have no roses blooming yet but the the Rhodys are starting to open.

  8. I would give anything to see a robin here!!! I did see two more scorpions tonight - not quite a fair exchange. The back looks wonderful, Z! Take a rest...Tanya

I will do a tour of my backyard space on my blog when we do open, you have inspired me!! Make a jar of sun tea and sit a spell you deserve it!!

  10. I love it - the colour pops and it all looks beautiful and cozy - how weird is that for an adjective for an outdoor space but that's how I see it!
    Love your yard z.

  11. Your color splash looks incredible. It reminds me of the south of france a little. You even matched the flowers! I too have been wanting a little color I think it's the Posie influence:)
I can't get hooked on a bird cam again like I did that one spring. But I still bookmarked it.
