uh......merry merry?

the dryer broke
he had to come twice Tuesday
173.00
then when it still did not work
i had to have my vent duct cleaned
95.00

the pooches were gross,
so off to the groomers to be shaved
tanya you won't recognize them
94.00
they desperately needed new beds
so martha style on sale 72.00

howie always comes home distressed
after groomer so he just
threw up not twice, not five times, but
nine times on my white wool rug

kids will be here in about 90 minutes

hannah will despise their sweaters
that i make them wear one night each
Christmas
she'll roll her eyes

and I saved the best for last
i am sick
dog sick
look like something the dog AND the cat dragged in
gone through an entire box of kleenex sick
fever sick
baked cookies all morning sick
still in pjs sick
merry merry

i will air kiss them and hug them
with my face turned away and
go to bed heavily medicated with
vicks and cough syrup and rally
tomorrow to truly make it
merry merry
i wish you all health
and to be with your families
ACHOOOOOOOO!

  1. I'm laughing! But I'm so sorry you're sick. This was just so funny. When it rains, it truly pours. Look at me and the first month in this house. Nine times! That's some serious stress going on. My two have yucky diarrhea... Thankfully, no carpet. Well, they managed to go on the tiny red rug in the bathroom. I threw it out.

  10. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Z! I didn't call today, as I was hoping you were getting some needed rest before the kids came in tonight. I said the same thing to Carole today at breakfast (we missed you immensely)...if there is ANYTHING I can do for you, PLEASSSSSEEEEE get ahold of me. I plan on seeing you on Friday, one way or the other...even if I have to just slip the lasagna through the dog door!

I can see Justice shivering in that photo, I fear! :-) Feel better, dear friend...XOXOXO
